Dreamer is a historic 55-foot ketch sailboat designed by John Alden and built in Maine in 1929 by Reed and Cooke. She is one of eight ketches built to design #367, based on the Schooner Malibar VII which won the 1926 Bermuda Race. Dreamer was purchased by a group of members of the Erie Yacht Club and was restored on the club grounds in the summer of 2006. One of the owners of Dreamer is David Berig, a local sailmaker in Erie, and the other owners are Rich and Doug Klaber from Pittsburgh.
